1. Who We Are
Wurky is an enterprise workforce management platform operated by Trizan Business Solutions Inc., a company doing business as Wurky. References to “Wurky,” “Trizan,” “we,” “us,” or “our” in this Privacy Policy refer to Trizan Business Solutions Inc. and its Wurky product.

- Employers and HR professionals using Wurky to manage their workforce
- Employees accessing the Wurky employee portal

3.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account information: First name, last name, email address, password (hashed), phone number
- Profile information: Job title, department, company, profile photo (avatar), bio, and other profile fields you choose to complete
- Employment data: Start/end dates, salary information, PTO balances, performance reviews, and other HR records entered by you or your employer
- Documents: Resumes, offer letters, contracts, and any other files you upload to the platform
- Messages & communications: Content of messages sent through the platform’s internal messaging system
- Job applications: Application data, cover letters, and application status
- Support tickets & bug reports: Issue descriptions, contact information, and supporting details you provide
3.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the platform
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and referring URLs
- Session data: Login timestamps and session duration
- Cookies: We use functional cookies and local storage tokens to maintain your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
3.3 Information From Third Parties
We may receive information about you from your employer if they have registered your account on your behalf, or from other users of the platform in connection with employment records, reviews, or messages.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Wurky platform
- Create and manage your account, including authentication and access control
- Process job applications and connect job seekers with employers
- Facilitate HR operations such as onboarding, payroll records, performance management, and benefits administration
- Send transactional notifications (e.g., new messages, application status updates, ticket responses)
- Respond to your support requests and bug reports
- Improve and debug the platform
- Ensure the security of the platform and prevent fraud or abuse
- Comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not use your personal information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third-party advertisers.
5. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR)

- With platform administrators: Trizan platform administrators (super admins) have access to platform-wide data for operations, security, and support purposes.
- Service providers: We may share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (e.g., hosting providers), subject to confidentiality agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority.
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users of any such change.
- With your consent: We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Specifically:
- Account data: Retained while your account is active and for up to 12 months following account deletion
- Employment records: Retained while the employment relationship is active and for the period required by applicable employment laws (typically 7 years)
- Support tickets and bug reports: Retained for 24 months for operational and improvement purposes
- Uploaded files: Retained until deleted by you or an authorized administrator, or until account deletion
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 10 below).
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including:
- Password hashing using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt)
- JWT-based authentication with token expiry
- Access controls limiting data access to authorized roles
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Rate limiting and abuse prevention
- Authenticated access required for sensitive uploaded files
While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.
9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Wurky uses the following types of storage technologies:
- Authentication tokens (localStorage): We store your JWT session token in your browser’s localStorage to maintain your logged-in session. This is essential for platform functionality.
- Session preferences: We may store lightweight preferences (e.g., UI settings) in localStorage.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics services that track you across other websites.
10. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (“right to be forgotten”)

14. Beta Platform Disclaimer
Wurky is currently in public beta. During this period, features may change and data handling practices may be updated. We also recommend not storing highly sensitive data that is not required for testing during the beta period.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice (such as an in-platform notification or email). Your continued use of the platform following notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
